Safety considerations
Our cosmetic natural skin care products have now been tested for various indications since 1997
Proteases in general have been used in skin care cosmetic products for many years, in particular for the purpose of exfoliation, and are probably the most widely used enzymes in the cosmetics industry.
Proteases, in particular trypsin and chymotrypsin, have been used for therapeutic and clinical studies for almost a century. The FDA classifies trypsin as a GRAS substance.
Our cosmetic natural skin care products have now been tested for various indications since 1997 without any apparent or noticeable side effects. This has been established in clinical trials on Penzyme. Furthermore, products containing Penzyme have been sold to the general public for over ten years, without reports on adverse effects.
Cosmetic safety assessment report and summary safety profile of PENZIM has been assembled to summarize the biological (toxicology) and clinical evaluations undertaken to demonstrate the safety profile of PENZIM with regard to the intended use and claims.
Our Medical Devices will be manufactured under ISO 13485 certification.
